What is Energy?

Energy is required to attempt missions. Every mission you accept costs an Energy point. Most missions require one Energy point, but some missions with higher rewards will cost two.

Energy is represented by a blue bar at the top of your screen. The bar is divided into ten segments and each segment represents one Energy point.

When you’re out of Energy, you cannot attempt to complete any more missions.

How do I get more Energy?

Energy recovers automatically over time. You will earn 1 Energy point back every so many minutes, until your bar is full again. You can tap on the Energy Bar in your menu to see how much time remains until you regain your next Energy point back.

If you just can’t wait (and who could blame you---this game is fun!), you can buy more Energy with Gold. Energy Bars can also be earned as rewards from Events and Leveling Up. These Energy Bars will instantly renew one energy point, so you can use these to get right back to the action!

What are the different types of Consumables?

There are three types of consumables you can use to help complete missions. These three types of consumables are: Spotters, Slow-Mo, and Piercing Ammo.

  • Spotter - Instantly highlight where all characters are on the map for the duration of the mission.
  • Slow-Mo - Puts the game into slow-motion mode whenever you aim.
  • Piercing Ammo - This ammo is so powerful that any bullet instantly becomes a one-shot kill. This ammo will also pierce through any level of armor.

Each purchase of a consumable gives you 5 items of that type. Consumables are both purchased and activated by tapping on the icons at the bottom of the screen during a mission. Once you use up all of your consumables of one type, the only way to get more is to purchase more or win them during Events, Achievements, or from leveling up.

How do I move in a mission?

There are arrows on either side of your screen that allow you to move left and right. Tapping on these arrows will allow you to shift your position to find a better line of sight on elusive targets. Keep in mind that these arrows go away when you are zoomed in with your scope.

How do I reload my weapon?

The Reload button is to the left of your shoot button at the bottom of your screen. Choose wisely when to reload, as you can’t shoot again until you’ve finished reloading. Reloading at the wrong time can get you killed by an enemy sniper, or allow a target to escape.

How do I use my weapon’s Scope / Sights?

This will depend on what control option you choose.

In the Classic controls t he Scope button is located in the bottom-left corner of the screen during a mission. The zoom slider is located to the right of your aiming reticule when your Scope is active.

In Radial controls dragging the zoom slider from right to left will look down the sights and you can adjust the zoom level by dragging the zoom slider left and right along the curved path .

In Vertical controls  dragging the zoom slider up from the bottom will look down the sights and you can adjust the zoom level by dragging the zoom slider up and down along the vertical line.

Bringing up your ‘Sights’ increasing your accuracy with Assault Rifles, Shotguns, and Saw Guns. Aiming with your Scope also zooms in if you’re using a Sniper Rifle.

How do I switch weapons during a mission?

The Switch Weapons button is in the top-right corner of the screen. Clicking this button will swap between your Primary and Secondary weapons.

I can’t find my target!

Enemies are sneaky. Turning on your Thermal vision makes it easier to spot enemies by exposing their heat signatures. The Thermal button appears right next to the Scope button whenever you have a Thermal supported weapon equipped. The Thermal Vision will run out after a few seconds but it can be upgraded in the Weapon Upgrades Shop to last longer.

You can also use a Spotter (see the question about Consumables below) to highlight both enemies and friendlies in the area, which will not run out.

My crosshair sways too much while I’m trying to aim!

Improving your weapon’s Accuracy in the Upgrade store will help make your aim more steady, which will be especially useful while you’re zoomed in with your Sniper Rifle’s Scope.

Does the weather in the game affect my shots?

No. Weather in Kill Shot is purely cosmetic. Wind and rain have no effect on your accuracy.
