To add a skill slot to a space soldier follow these steps:

• If there is an action that can be taken on a space soldier, a small red badge will appear on the corner of MY TEAM button on the home screen. If you see a red badge, tap the MY TEAM button.
• Once in the MY TEAM screen, tap on a space soldier with a red badge over his space soldier card.
• Once on the manage space soldier screen, if a skill slot can be added to a space soldier, a blank skill slot badge will appear. If you see one, tap it.
• The game will now show you the available add skill slot cards that can be applied on that space soldier. You can now apply the skill.
• Once the skill slot is applied you will see its symbol replace the blank icon on the space soldier card.
• The skill slot is now ready to have a Skill Perk applied to upgrade the skill.
