Skill Perks let you upgrade your space soldier’s skills by adding a new or upgraded skill to an available skill slot. To play a skill perk on a space soldier follow these steps:

• When you have a skill perk card that can be used, a small red badge will appear on the corner of MY TEAM button on the home screen. If you see a red badge, tap the MY TEAM button.
• Once in the MY TEAM screen, there may be several space soldiers with a red badge beside their space soldier marker. Tap the space soldier with the red marker you wish to apply the perk to.
• Once on the manage space soldier screen, if a skill perk can be applied to the soldier, a skill slot will be pulsating with an exclamation mark on it. If you see one, tap it.
• The game will now show you the available skill perk cards that can be applied on that space soldier. You can now APPLY the perk.
• Learning a new skill or upgrading a current one takes time. You can wait for training to complete or you can pay to rush the training of your space soldier.
• Once training is complete you will see the skill bar grow!
